Whelen Pioneer Plus Single Panel 8° Spotlights are extremely bright, highly efficient and ruggedly constructed scene lights. Instant On/Off operation eliminates the ramp up time and high current startups required by high-intensity discharge and other light sources.
The Solid-state electronics and LED lamps are rugged and reliable, eliminating the high cost of lamp or ballast replacement. Whelen Super-LEDs operate at very high light efficiency producing high lumen output per watt. The color temperatures of Pioneer Plus lights are at 6,000 degree Kelvin which simulates midday light. Pioneer Plus lights emit no ultraviolet rays that attract insects during nighttime operation. DC powered Pioneer models meet SAE 1113-42, Class 5 testing for EMI as they emit no EMI.
